CEO & Co-Founder
Techist is the brainchild of Susanta. His vision has created and shaped this phenomenon. Through his long professional journey of 28+ years, he has worked for several prestigious multi-national companies at senior positions and in lead roles. Susanta was the Principal Designer at Petrofac International Ltd. from January 2009 to October 2014, leading the company’s civil and structural design works successfully. He donned the position of Principal Designer at Petrofac International Ltd. (UAE) for more than 2 years.
All his experiences are playing a vital role in spearheading Techist towards great heights of professional and organisational success. He is a veteran Civil & Structural Designer with deep, practical knowledge of Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS, PDS, Structural Engineering, 3D Modelling, RCC Reinforcement Detailing, Plant Layout, Design of Structure and Connection Design. Susanta is quite pragmatic, putting his wisdom and experience to work for every project that Techist takes up. He also guides his team on various global structural engineering/design standards like AISC, Australian Code, BS code, Eurocode, IS Code, etc.
SUKANTA DAS

Sukanta is the backbone of business management and sales at Techist. He is an ardent manager of everything that means business and an articulate professional with advanced communication skills that brings clarity to the board. He has 16+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with solutions development and time management. A Master in Business Management, Sukanta has worked for multi-national companies like Vodafone, Airtel and Tata Telecom.
He is a highly-skilled solutions expert who always finds the right fit as per the customer’s needs. He implemented multiple high-profile government and private sector projects ranging from INR 10 million to 10 billion. He has a very specialised skill of thinking about a solution and then finding the right customers with every detail covered in the initial planning part.
